Editorial UX/UI · Web & PDF design

An editorial web page and printable publication for Insurate’s infrastructure campaign.

Web & PDF design

One editorial story, designed for screen and print.

The Insurate editorial page opens with ‘The Opportunity’ and the headline ‘The next great infrastructure boom is coming,’ establishing the subject before the long-form article begins.

The page is organised into a clear editorial sequence. The Stakes, The Context and The Opportunity introduce practical questions for contractors and agents, while the closing ‘Our Role’ section explains Insurate’s position in that relationship.

Bold typographic openings, compact two-column reading blocks, documentary photography and a repeating purple radial motif establish the visual hierarchy. Grey modular fields distinguish sections, and the closing call to action sits within the article’s conclusion.

The article was also designed as a five-page PDF edition for download, offline reading and print. A photographic cover, three interior pages and a closing contact page adapt the content through two-column layouts, prominent question headings, amber accents and a lime radial graphic on the cover.

Design highlights

Editorial structure
Context sections lead into separate questions for contractors and agents, ending with Insurate’s role and a call to action.
Web layout
Bold typographic openings, grey modular fields and purple radial graphics define transitions through the long-form page.
Print adaptation
Two-column layouts and bold questions organise the PDF edition, with amber accents throughout and a lime graphic on the cover.

Long-form web design

One continuous argument, with clear shifts in pace.

The continuous page moves from the infrastructure story into practical questions for contractors and agents, then closes on Insurate’s role. Large typographic openings establish the subject; smaller text columns hold the detail. Purple geometry and changes in background mark the transitions without breaking the reading sequence.

The desktop layout uses staggered text columns to distinguish context, opportunity and audience-specific questions. The purple field returns at the conclusion, connecting the opening statement with the invitation to contact Insurate.

Editorial structure

Dense information, organised around decisions.

The page begins with the stakes, context and opportunity before splitting the practical material into two audiences: what contractors should ask their agents, and what agents should ask their clients. This turns a broad policy story into a useful conversation framework.

Brand role & action

The conclusion turns the argument back toward partnership.

PDF edition / Offline & print

An editorial edition to download, keep and print.

The PDF redistributes the story across five pages: a photographic cover, three numbered editorial pages and a closing contact page. The web layout’s continuous scroll becomes a sequence of page-sized compositions, with two columns, repeated footers and a clear distinction between contractor and agent questions. Amber accents carry through the inner pages; the radial motif returns in lime on the cover.

02 — Questions for contractorsA prominent question heading gives contractors an entry point. Shorter question-and-answer blocks and a two-column grid organise the supporting material.

03 — Questions for agents and Insurate’s roleThe agent questions lead into an amber closing panel. Colour separates Insurate’s role from the practical guidance while keeping both on the same page.
