Logo Series 01.
Identity studies exploring how a mark’s construction can determine its movement.

Project overview
Logo Series 01 brings together identity studies spanning architecture, data, property, education, culture and technology. The series examines how a mark’s construction can inform its movement, with each identity organised around a different geometric or typographic principle.
The animations make those principles visible: a modular grid assembles, directional forms circulate, floral geometry grows, a frame opens, letterforms compress and an aperture changes state. Rotation, division, scale and sequence are selected according to the structure of each mark, establishing a specific relationship between form and motion.
Sketches and geometric construction lead into studies of timing, transition and repetition. Presented together, the identities offer a comparison of movement vocabularies across symbols and wordmarks. Each animation describes how the mark could behave as part of a wider visual system, extending the identity beyond its static composition.

Design highlights
- Structural motion
- Each animation develops from the mark’s construction: grids assemble, directional forms circulate, floral geometry grows and frames open to reveal their underlying visual logic.
- Typographic behaviour
- Modular letterforms compress, expand and reassemble, using the geometry of the wordmark to determine transitions and give typographic identities a distinct movement vocabulary.
- Movement principles
- Rotation, division, scale and sequence are selected according to each symbol’s structure, connecting static logo construction with the timing and repetition of its animation.
